Writer's Block: Built to last →
If you could build a monument, like the Eiffel Tower or Statue of Liberty, what would you build and where would you build it?
I would erect a giant statue of myself and place it in Times Square. On the pedestal would be my name and the words “Look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!” On New Years Eve, a ball on the statue would descend to mark the advent of the new year. During...

What TV show makes you laugh the loudest?
For shows still in production, I would say Hot In Cleveland, Community, and Modern Family, plus the Sue Sylvester parts of Glee. Old favorites that still make me laugh are Seinfeld, Friends, Golden Girls, and Roseanne. I really miss the show Popular. That was hysterical. And I was sad to see Ugly Betty go off the air. That show made me laugh uproariously.

What is your opinion of the death penalty? →

For any level of punishment, think about for what crimes that punishment is meted out. Then think of another type of crime. Is it worse or not as bad as the first crime? If worse, the punishment should be greater. If not as bad,...
