Writer's Block: Take me back →
Is there any song that reminds you so much of an ex-partner that you can’t stand to hear it? Details, please. I Can’t Make You Love Me, by Bonnie Raitt. The lyrics fit my recollection of a bad situation after it was over. While it was going on, my feeling was totally different. I was more inclined to think, “Hell yeah, I can make you love me, or else this is not going to...

What are your favorite feel-good things in life? →
What are your favorite feel-good things in life — things that always make you smile? Getting really drunk and feeling really communal. Also, thinking of funny things when I’m really drunk. I wish I had a drink and a barstool and a lot of other barstools, with people sitting on them and talking loudly over hi-nrg dance music.

Your best friend calls you and tells you he's... →
I would leave them alone. If I were sick I wouldn’t want someone bothering me trying to help me, and I certainly wouldn’t want them to see me if I looked a mess. I might check if there was anything in particular they intended to leave me when they were gone, and if they had put it in writing. It always helps to make sure that others have planned ahead.

Thousands of Sky Lanterns Light the Night  →
Eleven thousand sky lanterns were released into the night sky on June 21, 2011, in Poznan, Poland, to celebrate Midsummer Night. The event was promoted on Facebook as “Poznan’s most romantic night”. The Japanese really excel at men’s rhythmic gymnastics and this video shows it. How to Make a Great Lipdub Video →
What is a lip dub? A lipdub is a type of music video. In the video people lip-sync to music, and later the original version of the music is dubbed in, replacing any audio that was recorded during the making of the video.    That’s the simple definition. However there are certain important elements that are commonly used in the videos described as lip dubs, and a lot of these elements are...

Pay Attention To The Hands →
In a video on YouTube titled “can you pay attention to my hands mister”, a young man uses American Sign Language to tell his absent boyfriend how he feels about him, and in what ways he would like to express it in person. Of course, watching ASL being used can often be a beautiful thing, but never more so when the person doing it is… (keep reading - gay ASL)

If you could build a monument, like the Eiffel Tower or Statue of Liberty, what would you build and where would you build it? I would erect a giant statue of myself and place it in Times Square.
